Redskins Beat #2 Kapaun in Wichita

The Liberal Redskins now have a signature win. Last year the Skins beat number one 6A Blue Valley West. This year, the Skins topped #2 5A Kapaun 3-1 Thursday evening at the Wichita North Cup. Kapaun was ranked number one in the southwest region while LHS was ranked third.

Isai Gutierrez found the back of the net three times in the win. Eduardo Moreno, Jose Gutierrez, and Estevan Michel dished assists to Isai.

The Redskins are 8-5 after winning their sixth straight game. They play in the championship Saturday at 3 p.m. against the Berean Academy at Wichita North.
