Redskins Win North Cup Opener Over Andover Central

The Liberal soccer team is putting things together at the right time. Liberal, the third ranked team in the 5A southwest region beat Andover Central, the fifth ranked team in the southwest region Tuesday in the opener of the Wichita North Cup tournament. The Skins win their third shutout in the past four games 3-0. Isai Gutierrez scored two goals and dished one assist in the win. Eduardo Moreno added one goal and one assist and Auden Portillo added one assist. Liberal is 7-5 and plays again Thursday and Saturday at the Wichita North Cup.
