Rolla Names Their Field Friday

Rolla High School’s football field will have a new name Friday. Rolla officials will dedicate the field as the Gary Bane/Mac Plummer Field. Plummer taught math and science at Rolla before serving as an elementary principal and district superintendent. Bane taught social studies and P.E. and later became the high school principal. Both men were successful coaches at Rolla.

The dedication begins at 6:45 with the game at 7 p.m. against Ashland. Rolla officials invite family and friends of Plummer and Bane to attend the deciation ceremony.
