Knoll Commits to Cats

Ashlyn Knoll will still garner plenty of attention this year. Opposing coaches will try to figure out how to stop a player who can score inside and out. If she plays like she did last year, she will probably receive player of the week awards as well. She was a first team all Jayhawk West player as a freshman averaging 12 points and seven rebound per game.
But she likely won’t receive attention from many division 1 coaches other than the coaches employed by Kansas State University. The 6′ Happy, Texas forward verbally committed to Kansas State. She will join Southwestern Heights’ Heidi Brown in that program. She is the first Lady Saint since Kayla Hester to sign with the Wildcats.
