Liberal Girls Tennis Team Shuffles Lineup in Great Bend

The Lady Redskin Tennis Team shuffles its roster to find success but falls short of its goal at the Great Bend Invitational on Saturday. Competing teams included Garden City, Dodge City, Great Bend, Wakeeney, Nickerson, and Ellinwood. Ellinwood won team honors with 57 points followed by Great Bend and Dodge City.

Individual Results:

#1 Singles—Jackie Nguyen went 0-6 on the day.

#2 Singles—Maddie Rees went 0-6 on the day.

#1 Doubles—Kathy Nguyen and Shelby Hay went 1-5 on the day.

#2 Doubles—Lauren Harp and Melissa Alvarado went 1-5 on the day.

Liberal’s next varsity tournament is Thursday in Dodge City.
