The nine-year-old Cimarron River Rattlers won their district 2-0 over Grant County Friday night at Rosel Field. The Rattlers won 10-0 and 14-0. In game one, Brody Sumner was the MVP and Nelijah Tatum was the "WOW" player and in game two Braxton Hyde was the MVP and Hunter Carson was the "WOW" player. The Rattlers play Paoli at Fort Scott at 2:15 Friday.
The 10-year-olds lost 15-1 to Winfield at state in Oswego. They play at 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
The 12-year-olds lost 2-0 to Ottawa at state in Fort Scott and play at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
The 13-year-olds won a district opener in the 13 and 14 division by beating Ulysses 19-9 at Spearville.
