Ray McElroy Cancels Camp

The Ray McElroy football youth camp has been cancelled. The former Chicago Bear and Indianapolis Colt says a lack of interest is the reason. The camp was free but due to a lack of interest McElroy will not be making the trip for the camp. Minnesota’s Juaquin Iglesias who played at Oklahoma was also slated to help put on the camp.

McElroy has been coming to Liberal for the past several years. This camp was to be for boys from eight to 18 years old. A Youth Jam was to follow for this Christian based event. Monday was the deadline to sign up for the event.
