Litsch Resigns at Guymon

Guymon has a month to find a new head football coach. Head coach Joe Litsch resigned as head coach to take an assistant coaching position at class 6A Midwest City. Litsch brought at 3-4 defense and triple option offense to the Tigers. Guymon was 2-8 last year after going 1-9 in 2009. His Guymon coaching staff will return for next year including offensive coordinator Kyle Davis and defensive coordinator Tony McFarland.
Superintendent Douglas Melton says they want to have a coach in place by August 1. An interview with Melton airs during the Sportsguys Thursday morning between 7:37 and 9 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
