Alex Colvin is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior golfer Alex Colvin seems to be saving his best for last. Colvin shot a 78 for fifth place Tuesday at Willow Tree Golf Course. Last week Colvin shot a 77 at Great Bend. Colvin and the Redskins compete at the regional golf tournament Monday at Smoky Hills in Hays. Hays, Great Bend, McPherson, Newton, Salina Central, Salina South, and Liberal will compete. The top three teams and the top five indiduals not on those three teams qualify for state. Colvin’s interiview aired during the Sportsguys last week.
