Garden City Handles Liberal

Liberal will be glad to leave the road in the rear view mirror. The girls soccer team won their opener at home. But they have lost six straight on the road including Tuesday’s 5-1 loss at Garden City Memorial Stadium. LHS is 1-6 overall and 0-3 in the WAC. Magali Vazquez had six saves for Liberal and Guadalupe Ramirez scored Liberal’s goal. LHS returns home to Redskin Field to host Great Bend Thursday.
