Seward had a win in their grasp Wednesday afternoon at Clarendon. The Saints led 8-6 in the bottom of the eighth when a line drive was hit to second base. Seward dropped what would have turned into an inning ending double play instead. They booted a sub sequent ground ball after that and would allow six in the eighth. That lead of 12-8 would stand up for future BJ coach Mike Silva’s Clarendon Bulldogs.

Seward got off to a strong start scoring seven runs during the first two innings. Ben Wainright continued his hot hitting with a towering two RBI double against the wind. JT Bean collected three hits and two RBI’s. Jordan Dallalio added an RBI double. Seward falls to 25-16. They play at Garden City Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. The games air on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
