Redskins win, Lady Skins drop one in Great Bend

Liberal used a 14-1 run to win for the first time in Great Bend since 2008, beating the Panthers 57-47 Friday night. Jade Cathey led a balanced attack tossing a game high 15 points, as the Redskins improve to 2-1 in WAC play, 8-6 overall.

The Lady Redskins hung tough but dropped a 56-50 decision to the Lady Panthers falling to 1-2 in Wac play, 8-6 overall. Justice Norrah dropped in 19 points in the loss. The Lady Skins continue WAC play Saturday with a scheduled 3 o’clock tip off in Dodge City. The ‘Skins play Dodge City following the girls game.
