Sluggish Second Half Sinks LHS Girls

In the first half Liberal’s press gave Hays fits and the Lady Skins led 27-17 at the half. In the second half Hays shot mainly layups with their high-low half court offense and beat Liberal 52-40 in Hays Friday night in the Western Athletic Conference opener. Liberal led 31-21 early in the second half but were out-scored 35-13 in the second half. Justice Norah scored 16 and Destiny Hall added 11 in the loss.
