Next Phase of New Schools Comes in Under Budget

The USD 480 board received good news Monday night. JE Dunn’s bids for
phase 2 of construction of new schools came in under budget.
The board approved the bid to build Meadowlark at 11th and Calvert
and the new MacArthur for over 400 thousdand dollars under budget.
The board also approved a bid for over 1.5 million dollars for
desks and chairs, fixtures, and equipment for new schools and the
revamped Cottonwood and Sunflower. Southern Office Supply and School
Specialty won that bid.
