Car Crashes into Semi West of Plains

One man is in the hospital after his car collided with a semi tractor Sunday morning west of Plains. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 49 year old Eugene Jendrezejak of Phoenix, Arizona was headed east on Highway 54 and went left of center crashing into a semi tractor. Jendrezejak was injured and taken to Southwest Medical Center with injuries. The truck driver was not injured. The crash occurred at about 10:30 Sunday morning about five miles west of Plains.
