Meade State Park Home To Car Show

On Saturday September 27, 2014, Meade State Park and Friends of Meade State Park and Lake will host the 4th Annual Car and Bike show. The show will take place from 9:00am-3:00pm in the parking lot of the Visitor Center located on the South side of the lake. This year an antique Tractor Division has been added to the show. Registration will be beginning at 8:00am. There will be a $20.00 registration fee for the first vehicle and $10.00 for additional entries. Registration will include a park permit, and T-shirt. Spectators of the Car show will have a free entrance to Park that day, courtesy of the Friends of Meade State Park and Lake Group. Awards will be presented to cars and bikes of different year classes. Awards include: Year Class Awards, Best of Show, People�??s Choice, Longest Distance, and Friend�??s Choice. The Friend�??s Choice will be judged by the Friend�??s Group and the winner�??s vehicle will be used on advertising for next year�??s show. A meal will be available at the concession stand.
