Grant County Collision Injures Two

Two trucks collided in Grant County Tuesday afternoon injuring both drivers. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at about 2 p.m. about 18 miles northeast of Ulysses. Thirty-three year old Angel Salas of Ulysses was driving a 2007 Freightliner south on Grant County road X. Twenty year old Jorge Dominguez-Gonzalez of Garden City was driving a 1985 International Truck east on Grant County Road 11. The Freightliner failed to yield to the truck causing a collision in the intersection. Both vehicles came to rest southeast of the intersection. Salas and Dominguez-Gonzalez were both taken to St. Catherines Hospital in Garden City with injuries.
