Bee Jays Defeat Renegades in Rain Shortened Game

KSCB News - June 29, 2009 12:00 am

The Colorado Renegades looked like a road weary team Monday night at Brent Gould Field. The Renegades committed four errors as Liberal won 5-1 in a game shortened due to rain. The game reached the sixth before the rain and 56 mile per hour winds reached Liberal. New Mexico Junior College’s Josh Reyes pitched the distance for the win. Liberal has won three straight and is 13-11. The Bee Jays return to Jayhawk League play tonight at 7:00 PM Tuesday night at Larks Park in Hays. The game will air on Talkradio 1270 and kscb.net.
