Accident Send 3 to Hospital, 1 To Wichita

On Monday, May 26, 2014 at about 5:11 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to an injury accident at the 700 block of North Pershing Avenue. A vehicle had collided with a house.

Responding officers found that a 2006 Dodge Durango driven by a twenty three year old female was traveling south on Pershing Avenue. The vehicle left the roadway and collided with a house. The vehicle also struck a 2004 Ford F-150 that was parked in the driveway.

A twelve year old female passenger in the Durango was transported to Southwest Medical Center by Seward County EMS. She was later transported to a Wichita hospital for further care. The driver and a sixteen year old female passenger were taken to Southwest Medical Center by private vehicle.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
