3 Vehicle Accident In Grant County

A 3 vehicle accident in Grant County occured Wednesday morning at 8:00am, 1.4 miles west of the K25/US160 junction. A 1992 Ford pick up being driven by 68 year old Jerome Heimerman of Conway Springs KS, was stopped at the intersection of North Fork Street to turn left. A second vehicle, a 1998 Ford passenger car, being driven by Rodney Bryan , age 20, of Ulysses, came to stop behind Heimerman, when a 2003 Freightliner semi, being driven by 39 year old, Warner Wilson of Beaver Oklahoma, struck the Bryan vehicle, which in turn struck the Heimerman pick up. Rodney Bryan was taken to the Grant County Hospital with injuries, as was a passenger in Heimermans pick up, 50 year old, John Rowell of Salins KS. Jerome Heimerman, and other passengers in his vehicle, Marsha Heimerman, and Adam Heimerman were not injured, nor was Warner Wilson. Seatbelts were in use in all of the vehicles involved in this accident.
