Crash Near Liberal Claims Life of Six Year Old

A one vehicle accident last night claimed the life of a Liberal six year old. Six year old Eduardo Moreno lost his life after the accident which occurred at about 9:20 PM Thursday night. He was pronounced dead at 11:45 PM. The 15 year old driver Antonio Tereso Moreno was taken to Southwest Medical Center with injuries. The 2003 Chrysler passenger car was headed west on Seward County Road G. The driver lost control and the vehicle slid into the north ditch. The vehicle started to roll fully ejecting six year old Eduard Moreno causing fatal injuries. The crash occurred .3 miles west of Liberal. Both the driver and passenger were wearing seatbelts.
