USD 480 Board Goes Before City Tuesday and Talks Grading Wednesday

The USD 480 school board has a busy week. They met Monday night and accepted grant money for priority schools and handled routine business. Tuesday night, the board goes before the Liberal city commission to make a request for the city to allow the voters of Liberal to determine if city sales tax money should be used for the retirement of a bond issue at 6:30 at the city commission chambers. Wednesday night the USD 480 board invites the public to a special meeting regarding the issue of competency based grading. That meeting will be Wednesday night at 6 p.m. in the Educational Service Center.
