The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of an inmate Sunday afternoon at the Hamilton County Jail.
Steven Ray Holloway, 49, Syracuse, was found unresponsive in his cell at about 3:22 p.m. Sunday.
Hamilton County EMS responded to the jail and pronounced Holloway dead at the scene.
The Hamilton County coroner was notified and an autopsy was scheduled to be performed Monday in Garden City.
