Meade Woman In Critical Condition After Crash

A Meade woman is in critical condition following an accident Monday evening.

It happened just before 5 p.m. about 3 miles southeast of Meade. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 44 year-old Laura Looney was westbound on Meade County Road Q and drove left of center into loose gravel.

Looney lost control and rolled her multiple times. She was taken by EMS to Meade Count Hospital before she was airlifted to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita.

Looney remains in critical condition.
