The Liberal City transportation office says the city buses will continue to run Monday through the 5 pm hour, despite the snow. According to transportation director Jeff Young, be prepared for buses to run a few minutes late, but also be prepared in case the bus makes up its lost time. Red line buses on the west side were observed running five to ten minutes late passing the KSCB studios during the 11 am and 12 noon cycles, but back on schedule during the 1 pm cycle.

Today, New Year’s Eve, is the final day for free fares during the ridership promotion.
