The Liberal Police Department has arrested four individuals as a result of an ongoing burglary investigation. Between November 5th and December 10th, 2012, several residences were burglarized. The thieves targeted jewelry, electronics, firearms and cash.
On December 12th, three suspects were apprehended at their residence in the 700 block of South Western. The suspects are all teenage males ages 18, 16 and 14. A fourth suspect, an 18 year old male, was arrested the following day at a residence in the 600 block of East Oak. Investigators recovered a significant amount of stolen property including jewelry, electronics and cash.
Anyone with information about a crime is encouraged to call the Liberal Police Department at 626-0150 or the Crime Hotline at 624-4000. Persons providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible may be eligible for a reward.
