As cold weather approaches, the Student Nurses Association (SNA) at Seward County Community College/ Area Technical School will hold a coat drive.

SNA will collect winter clothes, new and gently used coats, gloves, hats, sweaters, and scarves now through Thursday, Nov. 15. Nursing students and faculty members will distribute the donated items before Thanksgiving to local schools, churches, homeless shelters, and to Project Hope in Hugoton.

The items can be dropped off at the SCCC/ATS main campus, 1801 N. Kansas, Area Technical School, 2215 N. Kansas, Epworth Allied Health Education Center, 520 N. Washington, the Colvin Adult Learning Center, 930 N. Kansas, all in Liberal.

SNA is a student nurse organization targeted to mentor the professional development of future registered nurses and to provide educational resources, leadership opportunities, and career guidance. For more than 15 years, SNA has been providing countless amount of warmth for people in need.
