Collision Kills Two South of Turpin

Two cars collided and killed two men Tuesday night south of Turpin. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 61 year old Dale Stephen McCoy of Turpin and 45 year old Steven Chris Jones of Thomas both lost their lives as a result of this crash. The collision occurred at 10:52 Tuesday night about six miles south of Turpin on Highway 83.

Jones was headed south on 83 and went left of center for an unknown reason and collided head on with McCoy’s vehicle which had been going north.

McCoy and Jones were pronounced dead at the scene with head and trunk internal injuries.
