Liberal Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A Liberal man died Monday in a motorcycle crash in Lauderdale County, Mississippi.
The wreck happened about 11:30 a.m. on Highway 19 North, about a mile north of Wal-Mart.
According to a report from WTOK-TV in Meridian, Miss, the fatality was identified as 62-year-old James B.”Benny” Wilson of Liberal, Kansas. he was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson.
Coroner Clayton Cobler says a car slowed in front of Wilson in a construction zone, and the rider went on his side to try to avoid the collision.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating.
