Teenager Struck by Car in Rolla

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a teenager was life flighted to Wichita after being struck by a car Tuesday night in Rolla. Eighteen year old Chloe Gallagher of Topeka was hit by a car at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday on Eisenhower Street on the west side of Rolla. Gallagher and 19 year old Casey Jo Thomlinson were laying in the road when a vehicle headed east on Morton County Road J struck Gallagher. The driver 26 year old Paula Perkins and Thomlinson were not injured but Gallagher was taken to Elkhart Medical Center and later flown to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
