One individual was arrested on February 10, 2012, immediately following a robbery that occurred at Walgreens. Police responded to a robbery in progress, during which a male was reported to have walked up to the pharmacy counter and demanded narcotics. Shortly after the individual fled the scene, officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop on the vehicle, resulting in the arrest of one adult male.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the suspect was traveling through Liberal with his family and that the robbery was an isolated incident with no other suspects involved. The case has been forwarded to the Seward County Attorney’s Office for formal charges.
