Oklahoma Revenues Up

KSCB News - December 2, 2011 8:11 am

Oklahoma Treasurer Ken Miller says the
state’s gross revenue collections continued their upward trend in
November. That’s pushed Oklahoma’s 12-month receipts to their
highest level in more than two years.
Miller released revenue figures on Thursday that showed gross
collections this November were 13.2 percent higher than November
2010, with increases in every major category of tax collections.
Miller says the figures are promising and point to "an
economically healthy holiday season."
Over the past 12 months, Miller reports that gross revenue
totaled $10.5 billion. That’s an increase of more than 9 percent
over the 12-month period that ended in November 2010.
Miller’s figures include gross state revenue collections, not
just those to the state’s general fund, which is used to fund state
government.
