Several Meals Scheduled to Honor Veterans

The KSCB gang will gather together again this year at the VFW in Liberal for Veterans Day. The VFW on the old 2nd Street Road hosts a free will donation bean feed from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Veteran’s Day today. The menu consists of ham and beans, stew, chili, chicken and noodles, beef and noodles, corn bread, and deserts. All veterans and the community are invited.

The American Legion and Auxiliary invite veterans, their families, and the public to their annual ham and bean feed from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post on 25 West 3rd Street. You are invited to thank and honor veterans for the contribution they have made to the country. Free will donations will be accepted.
