Semi Rollover Injures Man and Closes Highway

A semi-truck overturned early Thursday morning injuring a man and closing part of highway 83 for over four hours. At about 5:35 a.m. the truck exited the road and ended up in the ditch on the east side of the road. The accident occurred at mile marker 6.3 just north of Liberal. Highway 83 was closed in this area from 5:42 to 10:08 a.m. The truck driver was injured and taken to Southwest Medical Center. His name has not yet been released.
