Alcohol Suspected In SW Kansas Crash

KSCB News - October 20, 2011 1:15 pm

Investigators believe alcohol played a factor in a rollover crash in SW Kansas early today. Kearny County emergency crews responded to the scene on US Highway 50, 1/2 mile west of Deerfield after 2:00 a.m.

Investigators said a car driven by Cesar Villa-Reyes, 23, of Lakin, left the highway, entered the ditch and struck a culvert. Villa-Reyes was ejected from the vehicle.

Villa-Reyes was initially taken to Kearny County Hospital and later flown to a Wichita hospital.
