The Dodge City
Court documents filed Friday contend the Dodge City clinic is suffering collateral damage in a law legislators aimed at the Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri.
A federal court has blocked enforcement of the law and ordered Kansas to continue funding Planned Parenthood while the case is
resolved. But the nonaffiliated Dodge City clinic says its funding also had been stripped and asks a federal judge to also issue an injunction restoring its federal family planning funds.
Like Planned Parenthood, the clinic makes the same Supremacy Clause argument that states cannot impose additional requirements
to qualify for federal funds.
