Hays Drops Liberal in Home Opener

Liberal’s girls soccer team opened their home season looking for their first win Thursday afternoon at the Liberal Soccer Complex. Hays had other designs however and beat LHS 4-1. The Indians led 2-0 at halftime. An Alexa Wentworth steal and goal into the south net cut the Hays lead to one 1:18 into the second half. But Hays dominated the rest of the way. LHS is 0-7 and goes to Guymon on Tuesday.
