Sen. Jerry Moran Coming To Southwest Kansas

U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) will Southwest Kansas on Wednesday and Thursday, August the 10th and 11th, during his statewide listening tour. Sworn in this year as a U.S. Senator representing Kansas on Capitol Hill, Sen. Moran is continuing his tradition of traveling back to Kansas at every opportunity to visit hundreds of communities throughout the state.

Sen. Moran will meet with residents in Meade in the Commissioners Meeting Room at the Meade County Courthouse, 200 North Fowler, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 . Area residents are encouraged to attend.

Sen. Moran will meet with residents in Liberal at the Liberal Chamber of Commerce, 4 Rock Island Road, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 . Area residents are encouraged to attend.

Sen. Moran will meet with residents in Hugoton at the Common Grounds Espresso Café, 531 South Main Street, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 . Area residents are encouraged to attend.

Sen. Moran will meet with residents in Elkhart at Jim-n-I’s Restaurant at 634 Highway 56, from 7:00-8:00a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 . Area residents are encouraged to attend.

Sen. Moran will meet with residents in Ulysses at the Grant County Senior Center, 117 East Grant Avenue, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 . Area residents are encouraged to attend.

The senator will travel to each of Kansas’ 105 counties to talk with area residents about their hopes and concerns. The issues Sen. Moran focuses on and the work he does in Washington, D.C., is largely based on the conversations he has with Kansans during these town hall meetings.
