Garden City Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A Garden City man was killed when he wrecked his motorcycle Sunday evening. Police were called to the 1100 block of Campus Drive before 8:00 p.m.
Police said Thomas Messenger, 25, was on his Kawasaki ZX14 when he was switching lanes while trying to pass a vehicle. Messenger locked up the brakes and struck the rear of a vehicle. Messenger’s motorcycle then struck two additional vehicles.
Messenger was taken to a Garden City hospital where he died from his injuries.
