The Seward County Saints baseball team split a non-league doubleheader in Clarendon Wednesday. The Saints dropped game one 11-10. Seward trailed the game 10-0 at one point but rallied to make it just a one run game before falling by a run. Luke Campbell had two home runs in the loss. Todd Glime also went yard. In game two the Saints won 18-9. Seward led 11-0 at one point just like Clarendon did in game one but this time it was Clarendon who came back to make it a 12-9 game at one point. The Saints went on to score six more runs though to win game two comfortably. Keegan Morrow had a good day from the plate going 5-5 in game two and finishing with seven hits combined in both games. Seward is now 27-17 overall and 13-11 in the Jayhawk West. The Saints will host Hutchinson on Saturday and Sunday at Brent Gould Field. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. on both days.
