USD 480 Looks into Renovation of Redskin Field

During the USD 480 Board of Education meeting on Monday the board asked Alan Haskell who is the Director of Auxiliary Services to look into getting bids to renovate Redskin Field. The renovation would include improving the bleachers, putting a new track down, and adding artificial turf to the field. The board also asked Haskell to get bids on possible trailors to add to Liberal High School for more classroom space. Haskell also was asked to get bids on what the cost of re-roofing some of the schools in the district as well due to leaks in a few of the schools. This was not an action item on the agenda and no decision will be made on the projects until the board’s next meeting which will take place on Monday, April 27.
