McPhail Signs at Fort Hays State

One of the top female athletes in recent years has signed to play volleyball at Fort Hays State. MaKayla McPhail chose the Tigers after leading the Redskins to the state volleyball tournament this fall. McPhail will play for former Barton coach Kurt Kohler who’s first season will be 2009. He takes over a program which went 9-25 last season. McPhail was the only starting senior on a team which went 29-11. She helped LHS win three straight WAC titles. McPhail signed Wednesday morning.
