Meade County Man Dies In Accident

A Meade County man died Sunday morning from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident. Clayton Reed Johannsen, 26, of Meade, was driving his 1989 Chevrolet pickup southbound on County Road 15 about 7 miles south of Meade when, around 9:30 a.m., his vehicle went into the east ditch. The vehicle the proceeded to go over a bridge embankment and into a creek bed. Johannsen was not wearing a seat belt.
