A Guymon man was arrested on Wednesday, September 29, for allegedly committing several sexual acts on a child under 16 years of age.
Erik Thompson, 29 of Guymon, Okla., has been charged with three counts; lewd molestation, a felony, punishable by imprisonment for not less than 25 years and a fine not more than $10,000, forcible sodomy, a felony, punishable by imprisonment for up to 20 years and a fine of up to $10,000, and lewd or indecent proposals to a child under 16 years of age, a felony, punishable by imprisonment for not less than three years to not more than 20 years and a fine not more than $10,000 according to information obtained at the Texas County Court Clerk’s Office.
Thompson is being held at the Texas County Detention Center on a bond of $100,000.
