The Liberal Chamber of Commerce will host the 20th annual “Duck Festival” Saturday at Light Park in Liberal. There will be food, fun and festivities all day long culminating with the “Duck Race” at 2:00pm. Scheduled throughout the day will be a firefighter water fight, Ducky Downs, and fun for the whole family.
In conjunction with the Festival will be the Seward County United Way Chili, Soup, Taco and Salsa Cook Off. Several teams have already signed up. If you would like to enter, call 620-624-5400. Tasting kits will be available at the event.
KSCB and The Legend will also be their with the next to last stop on the National Beef Cornhole Tour. Registration will begin at 9:00 with the tournament starting at 10:00. A $100 cas prize will be awarded to the winner. Also the 2021 Honda Accord with the Touring Package courtesy of Ghumm’s Auto Center and the Kanyon Patio Furniture will be on site, so come register for a chance to win these items at the Grand Finale on September 18th at Broadcast Square.
Ducks will be available for purchase for $10 each, a 6 “Quack” for $50 or 13 for $100, throughout the day as well. The Duck Festival pays out a total $10,000.00 in prize money. For more information call the Liberal Chamber of Commerce at 620-624-3855
