Accident in Beaver County Injures a Texas Man

An injury accident occurred Saturday, January 9th, at 2:40am on US-83 approximately 3.7 miles north of Turpin, OK in Beaver county.

A 2006 Saturn Vue driven by Alex Garcia, 23, of Amarillo, TX. was southbound on US-83 when he lost control of the vehicle and departed roadway to the left. The Saturn rolled 2.25 times coming to rest on driver side.  Garcia was transported by Seward County EMS to Southwest Medical Cener in Liberal, then transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.

The accident was investigated by Trooper James Crowder #348 of the OHP, assisted by Beaver County Sheriff’s Office, Seward County EMS and the Turpin Fire Department
