The USD 480 school board met Tuesday night and voted to accept a low income grant. The district qualifies for a rural low income schools program grant. The grant is based on census data in which at least 20 percent of the district’s children aged 5-17 are from families with incomes below the poverty line. The district received 58,114 dollars.

The board also approved the sale of property at the Seymore Rogers and Prairie View Elementary site. Trailers and Trails purchased the 1.7 acres for 29,500 dollars.
