#3 Seward Dominates #9 Jacksonville

Midlothian, Tex. – Seward County Community College defeats Jacksonville College in dominating fashion 8-1 in Midlothian, Texas. No. 3 Saints defeat the No. 9 Jaguars with a singles sweep but drops one match in doubles. The Saints defeated the Jaguars earlier this season in Plano, Texas in a 7-0 affair on March 3rd.
To start the match the Saints would fall in the number one doubles 8-6 to the Jaguars with Kyllian Savary and Enzo Frequelin in the top spot. Seward responded in the number two doubles with Raul Centeno and Luciano Fisicaro winning 8-0 and third, doubles Paulo Castillo-Martinez and Juan Gonzales with an 8-2 victory.
In singles, Luciano Fisicaro competed in the number one singles and posted a 6-0, 6-2 win. Kyllian Savary competed in the second singles slot and won in straight sets 6-2, 6-0. Raul Centeno third singles match concluded early after a 6-1 first set his opponent retiring in the second set. Juan Gonzales competed in the fourth singles spot and won in straight sets 6-3 and 6-2. In the fifth singles spot, Paulo Castillo-Martinez won 6-2, 7-5. In the final singles match, Pierre Copin was able to win 6-1, 6-4 to help Seward County to the victory.
The Saints will compete on Thursday, March 18th at Oklahoma Baptist University.
