A 2 vehicle accident Saturday has claimed the life of a Guymon man. The accident occured at 6:30am Saturday1.4 miles West of Tyrone on Highway 54.
A 2002 Volkswagon being driven by Lucas Hipolito, 27, of Guymon OK,was eastbound on Highway 54 when he crossed the centerline striking a 1997 Kenworth semi, being driven by Ruben Zubia of Liberal. The semi came to rest across both lanes of traffic on Highway 54, while Hipolito vehicle came to rest on the south side of the road.
Hipolito died at the scene as a result of his inuries caused in the accident.
