Garden City police have arrested 2 people after an investigation into alleged child abuse cases.

The investigation began on April 18, 2014 after reports of alleged child abuse against foster children at a residence in the 1300 block of East Fair Street. The abuse is alleged to have occurred from 2008 through 2014. The investigation revealed that the suspects’ had allegedly abused and mistreated several children who were in foster care at the residence.

The ages of the children ranged from 1 year of age to 15 years of age. There were a total of 8 victims identified.

The investigation was completed on August 8, 2014 and arrest warrants were obtained for 40-year-old Glenda Griffin and 47-year-old Stacy Griffin.
